Daily Quiz - January

Question 18 caught me out this month:-
18. Who is the odd one out ? Michelangelo, Botticelli, Donatello, Leonardo, Raphael?
I answered Raphael because he was the only one not to be born in the Republic of Florence.
Answer was Botticelli because he was not a teenage mutant ninja turtle

To which question? (I'm lazy and don't save the questions so I never know which ones I got wrong!)

When the monthly winner is announced for the Daily Quiz competition (the general knowledge quiz), the answers are listed but not the questions. Therefore people can't check how they went on. I do make a note of all questions and my answers on a daily basis and then check them off at the end of the month because quizzing is my hobby. We're just saying if the answers AND questions were listed at the end of the month, things would be easier.

Most appreciated, its always good to see where I got an answer wrong.

I'm in the process of making a list of 'Our comp' winners on the 'Ours' page, you might have seen it.

It'll list the information discussed here along with the other competitions and winners nickname (if they've agreed).
Hopefully this week sometime we'll see something on that list.

Whilst I'm thinking about it, who won the mystery picture competition? And what on erth was it? I turned it upside down and squinted at it but still couldn't grasp what it was. I'm probably going to kick myself when I find out.

The picture was a nail clipper, I was going to user the winner section to display the small photo and large version but I just haven't got around to getting it fully working yet.

Before announcing peoples names I like to ask permission, when I roll out the winners page I'll be adding a tick box asking users if they'll allow us to publish their nickname.

You can now find the answers to the previous months daily quiz on the 'ours' competition page.

It still needs some work and to be updated but hopefully this helps out.

Could I ask what happened with the recently introduced feature of reprinting the Daily Quiz questions along with the answers? It was great whilst it lasted!!

They stay active for 2 weeks, did this months one not appear?

Perhaps I've not looked in the right place? Weren't they published along with the answers? Or have I misremembered?

They appear on the '#Ours' page, under recent winners, we will be making use of this for more comps soon, it seems to work for what I'm testing it on.
