Win a Stylish Bag closing date 29 May. Link takes you to a competition to win flowers. Hello April and Andy, where are you? Why are things going wrong? Why are you ignoring my emails? I'm sure you'd prefer to deal with me confidentially but you don't reply so what else can I do to attract your attention? Edit: Just discovered, via hotukdeals.com, that the bag competitionby kevincharley - General Competition Chat

If you haven't already entered the competition 'Brand New Garden Furniture' - 27 May. I believe the correct answer is 'Africa', not 'South America' as stated. This is the fourth incorrect answer I've picked up on this month. I don't think we can any longer claim that the 'occasional' mistake is being made, it's now a regular occurreby kevincharley - General Competition Chat

Quiz 24 May - 8 years ago
Is this a trick question or simply a badly researched one? So far as I can see the character in the picture wasn't a detective and the actor doesn't appear to have played a detective with any of the names listed.by kevincharley - UK Forum
Facebook competitions - 8 years ago
Where a FB competition asks you to 'like & share' to enter there are generally loads of replies saying 'liked & shared'. Could somebody tell me why? Is it part of the rules that I'm unaware of? Or is it simply people hoping to have a better chance if their profile appears in the replies? I don't usually post a comment unless it's asked for and then Iby kevincharley - UK Forum
Re: DOES ANYBODY ACTUALLY WIN? - 8 years ago
There's one of the film web sites that has the age categories as something like 18-24, 25-35 & 36+ which makes me feel really over the hill! Some of the sites want to know the age of the people using their product so they know which age group to target with their marketing so yes, Pippin, you're about spot on!by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Multiple draw dates - 8 years ago
May I suggest that where a competition has multiple draw dates these are shown as either separate competitions or that they have their own category. For example: Ipad mini (tinyurl.com) 17May2015 4 draws with end dates of 3 May, 10 May, 17 May & 24 May. I don't remember it being listed for the first 2 draws (I'm sure someone will let me know if I'm incorrect) and I don'by kevincharley - Suggestions

'Our Competitions' - 8 years ago
Almost a year ago I asked if something could be done about the cut off points for the in-house competitions. (see General Competition Chat - Our Competitions for thread) If a competition is dated for a specific day then shouldn't it be available for the full 24 hours? Re: 500 comps/3,000 entries per week - anyone do more ? - 8 years ago
Nope, I don't have the patience, nor the time. Definitely not the time! I think I would be a candidate for the old overcoat that fastens up the back if I were to do 8am - 10pm.by kevincharley - UK Forum

If you haven't already entered the competition to win an online photography course - closing date 6 May - the answer is David Bailey, not David Young. I've reported it but don't know when it'll be amended.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Is it THAT important? - 8 years ago
Roly, yes, the Riddle Race was pretty much a surprise to me. I got dragged back in part way through the month but set myself a limit : If I couldn't think of an answer within two minutes I left it alone, no more trawling through lists of films and actors as I did previously, and it became fun again. I haven't a clue how I got two points! As for the last question - the comedian - I wasby kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Is it THAT important? - 8 years ago
I am 'guilty' of entering all the quiz questions at month end and it has nothing to do with the ladder as I stopped using the entry method that accrues ladder points. I've simply run through the list in case I've missed one or two - which I, invariably, have. Don't let it ruffle your feathers as, like you say, it isn't that important.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat

Miketerry why, every time I point out a glitch, you reply, seemingly trying to make me sound as though I'm complaining for the sake of it? I try hard to sort out errors that I find for the benefit of members, such as yourself. A lot of my comments are made behind the scenes, I've been in touch with April for some time now and she seems to be making progress with queries that have beeby kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Sixtyplusurfers Competition - 8 years ago
April, your answer puzzles me, I've just checked and, yes, the link now takes you to the competition advertised. The answer now corresponds with the competition question, it hasn't been changed - there was no need for it to be changed. But it's correct so thanks for sorting it.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat

Re: Account downgraded - 8 years ago
Hmmm, tricky question! I've not had a reply to an email sent at the weekend but there has been two posts on the forum by April today so maybe things are starting to happen.
