Open & log - 4 years ago
Anyone else experiencing issues with the 'open & log' button? I'm just caught in a loop whereby the competition opens but instead of logging it it's still open and I have to reload the tab before the competition is moved into the 'already entered' liat.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: not realy a prize - 4 years ago
Sounds very much like timeshare.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat

Re: strike through - 4 years ago
There are a lot of competitions that offer accommodation but not travel. Depending on where it is could you not get cheap flights? Conversely it could be timeshare. You still get the holiday but you have to agree to the selling aspect so you have to be made of strong stuff! Details of what was being offered would have been in the prize description so it's always worth checking.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat

I'm fully aware that I should close sites/clear browsing histories/delete cookies. But thanks for the advice.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: phone calls - 4 years ago
The times I've been advised by phone a message has been left. Although, saying that, I've had lots of missed calls where a message hasn't been left which may have been wins. Who knows! I guess it's down to the individual company to decide. Not very helpful!!by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: strike through - 4 years ago
There's a strike through facility? I know there used to be but I thought that had been removed in one of the upgrades. Just shows what I know!by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Answers on the our section - 4 years ago
The only one of the in-house competitions that announces any names on a daily basis is the 'Where Am I' and only one name is picked, at random, each day. The others announce a winner after the closing date. If your name isn't announced it's because your name hasn't been picked, not that you've got the answer wrong or that youve not submitted correctly. Hope I'by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
New 'All' tab - 4 years ago
When using this tab it would be great if, once the competition has been logged, the screen returned to the 'All' tab rather than Holiday/Value/etc tabs. As it stands it slows things down. Thanks.by kevincharley - Suggestions
Re: Daily Quiz - January - 4 years ago
Perhaps I've not looked in the right place? Weren't they published along with the answers? Or have I misremembered?by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Daily Quiz - January - 4 years ago
Could I ask what happened with the recently introduced feature of reprinting the Daily Quiz questions along with the answers? It was great whilst it lasted!!by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Persistent login test? - 4 years ago
Not sure I see the advantage. I seldom logout.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Nuisance calls after entering a comp - 4 years ago
Ask your service provider if they can block the call. Failing that I can lend you my husband who is excellent at dealing with nuisance calls!by kevincharley - Off Topic Forum
Re: Crossed out competitions - 5 years ago
It should be listed in 'logged competitions'. I just tested it to be sure and the one I deleted appeared there.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Daily Quiz - January - 5 years ago
I second Pippin's comments. Thanks.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Daily Quiz - January - 5 years ago
Thanks. Even now I know what it is I still can't make it out. At least I've saved myself from a kicking!by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Daily Quiz - January - 5 years ago
Thanks, I look forward to it. Whilst I'm thinking about it, who won the mystery picture competition? And what on erth was it? I turned it upside down and squinted at it but still couldn't grasp what it was. I'm probably going to kick myself when I find out.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Daily Quiz - January - 5 years ago

Re: Daily Quiz - January - 5 years ago
Thanks Lesley. Suggestion to Da Management - save Lesley having to save the questions and reprint them along with the answers. Pleeeease! (I may have asked for this before...)by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Daily Quiz - January - 5 years ago
To which question? (I'm lazy and don't save the questions so I never know which ones I got wrong!)by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Euromillions - 5 years ago
But @ is 'at' not a letter so that doesn't get us any closer to the answer. Although I agree there's definitely some confusion somewhere down the line!by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Daily Quiz - January - 5 years ago
Ah, Ms Pippin, far too intellectual for your own good!!by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Complog. - 5 years ago
Just above the holiday listings you'll see: Logging a competition will hide it, to see your logged competitions click here. All the competitions you've entered should be listed there.by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Euromillions - 5 years ago
Thanks everyone. That's at least three different answers as I scratched my head and opted for C - &c meaning etcetera. Could we have confirmation from Da Management, please? Thanks!by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Euromillions - 5 years ago
Once this has question has closed tomorrow would someone please put me out of my misery and tell me the answer to the question - and why. Maybe I'm being a bit of a thicky but I never knew that '&' stood for a letter - or at least, none of the options supplied!by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Slogan competitions - 5 years ago
Slogan competitions seem to be a dying art I'm afraid. I can't advertise a rival but google it and you'll find a few but not many. It seems to be all about prize draws - quick and easy to get the brand seen by as many people as possible in as short a time as possible. In short, advertising! Good luck!by kevincharley - General Competition Chat
Re: Waitrose competitions - 5 years ago
I experienced this for the first time a few days ago. This is the reply I received: I'm afraid there is currently a technical error with our website, which we hope to have fixed shortly. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this causes, and thanks again for your patience.
