Re: How many competitions do you enter? - 9 years ago
Jayne My Offers waste of time, as way too much spam mail generated and never hear of winners i do about 600/750 a month i only pick stuff i want to win. Why don't you have a holiday from comping for a couple of days and read some of the compers blogs to see how they are winning, Pinterest and skill comps less people enter so more chance of a win Hope you get a win soonby Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder - 9 years ago

Re: Ladder - 9 years ago
Pippin. I enter various postal comps, slogans, newspapers, Sunday magazines in Papers, and if am lucky enough to find a good old fashioned purchase to win comp i normally go for it if i would use the product,by Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder - 9 years ago
Pippin, i do make an effort with the postcards i use, and i seem to have more luck on spending £15-£20 on postage to enter comps as better than doing the lotto as never win on that,by Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder - 9 years ago
Pippin, I average on 3 postal wins average a month (normally enter about 30 postal comps- do find the local newspapers and weekly mags good for wins by postal entering) But again it is the luck of the draw! AND YOU HAVE TO BE IN IT TO WIN IT! Last week has been small HD Video recorder, (postal entry) nice little camera(postal entry), 3 DVDs(internet entry), 1 Bluray film (postal entry), andby Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder - 9 years ago
Pippin, This year had over £1000 in prizes off about 20 wins, and my biggest (£500 this year) win was postal entry, hopefully more wins this forthcoming year.by Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder - 9 years ago
Pippin, I have lost the will with the ladder, i too entered everything the other week and the points were not being added or delayed in being added. Anyway the name of the game is winning, have you won anything? No good doing all the comps if those little WEM or surprise parcels are not turning up on your doorstep,by Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder - 9 years ago
That's what i was on about, i was entering and had entered all when wrote on forum and was 15th place, so it seemed as i was going backwards, then BINGO i moved up to 7th place and was not entering comps as had entered them all !!!by Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder - 9 years ago
Oh well i will just carry on comping in hope of more winnings, and maybe someone of CC team might read this thread and actually answer our little questions that we bring up !!!!by Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder - 9 years ago
Yep rolysb i'm all up to date, the more i do i go down the ladder, not really worried as long as i am winning prizes from entering comps which is paying off as over £1000 in goodies this year Have noticed some of my competitions have DARK blue/black (different colour blue to other lines) lineby Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder - 9 years ago

Re: DOES ANYBODY ACTUALLY WIN? - 10 years ago
lizzejane, Keep plodding at it ! I used to do loads of postcard comps with lots of small prize wins,(doing less of them now as postage prices going up) last year i went all out to try the internet comps and not a bean! and i mean not a sniff of a bean! Had a break in Dec/early Jan and went full on entering EVERY comp online i could find for 6 weeks and have won about £1100 worth of prizes. So rby Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: DOES ANYBODY ACTUALLY WIN? - 10 years ago
Hwilko, Yes i am sure it's just a numbers game, i won not a beandoing internet comps last year, and all my wins were postcard entries. But 2014 i have had 3 nice wins to a value of £500 and hopefully more to come. Anyway you have to be in it to win it, and good luck for this forthcoming yearby Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: The Ladder - 10 years ago
Pippin, I enter all magazine comps with postcard entries where possible (as seem to get more wins) But i do try to find the wacky postcards that stand out to send my entries on, I wish there were more postcard comps like before and do subscibe to various publications for comping, where postcard comps are listedby Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: The Ladder - 10 years ago
Pippin, I too enter as many as i can (depending on time) But have found i have won more with Postcard entries over the last 5 years than web entries. Again many little prizes which are always a joy to receive and to have a daily joke with my Postie , But as the saying goes You have to be in it to win it" So while there is so much trailer trash on TV that the people of this household watch iby Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: The Ladder - 10 years ago
Pippin, same here, have done all the comps available and slipping down the board!!!!! Only thing i can think of is that the ladder did not take into consideration the comps we had already entered before the ladder started so we had less to enter as already crossed out with the complog. But i will be interested to see if any of us win more with these few extra comps we have entered!!by Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: The Ladder - 10 years ago
Well i've run out of comps to enter, so will be slipping down the ladder, Google chrome and fast speed broadband must be the answer . Well lets see if i actually win any prizes as normally have more luck with old fashioned postcard competitions than internet entry. So hopefully a few of us will have a lucky month with all those extra comps we've entered, happy comping guys!by Netpence - General Competition Chat
Re: PREMIUM RATE COMPETITION ENTRY OR FREE INTERNET ENTRY? - 11 years ago
I enter many competitions every month, Internet, a few phone and postcard entries, and i must say i have more luck with my postal entries compared to Internet entries, but yes i have lean spells, but the saying goes "You got to be in it to win it" So all you compers that keep moaning you have never won, either take a short break or carry on comping as at least on this site we get direcby Netpence - UK Forum
Re: Entered/ignored competitions mark off facility not working - 12 years ago
I have also had this problem, also had my computer checked from the local computer shop where i bought it, and they said there was nothing wrong with my browser either. I just don't use the ignore and just click them off as thou i have entered the competition,by Netpence - UK Forum
