Re: PREMIUM RATE COMPETITION ENTRY OR FREE INTERNET ENTRY? - 9 years ago
All "responsible" competition runners will certainly give as much precedence to online entry as they do postal or premium phone entry. At the end of the day, someone who enters on-line has had some direct advertising thown at them - and has maybe even had to register. I feel sorry for the people who do call premium rate numbers to enter competitions - they probably have no idea justby BoredInBacup - UK Forum
Re: Hotmail?? - 9 years ago
Some companies will block hotmail.com addresses - I used to work somewhere that had that policy. It was down to the fact that it used to be incredibly easy to create an "anonymous" hotmail account, so they were favorites of spammers and phishers. It's always worth looking in the spam folder of your e-mail as some competition-related e-mail replies could quite easily be mistakenlby BoredInBacup - UK Forum
Re: Same Winners Time After Time- Not renewing my membership - 9 years ago
Having only just joined the site, and subscribed, I do think it's worth the fee simply to be able to see all the comps at a glance. I hate to think how long it would take me to trawl the web searching for comps. For me it's something to do in my spare time - if I do win something it'll be a bonus! I'm sure it provides more return on investment than a few lottery ticketsby BoredInBacup - UK Forum
