Well hopefully the first icon will now log and reload on all devices. Not sure if the tool tip will be back but the answer is presented anyway.by ukinet - General Competition Chat
Comps not opening and logging. - 6 years ago
Hello, I've had a few emails saying that since some changes they can no longer use the quick link icons to open a new window and log the comps. It's not the changes that have caused this, it is an update Apple have made to their browser, it could possibly affect other browsers too, I just haven't heard from anyone or seen this problem on any browsers I use. Goose Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm trying to open and enter links but it's just > logging and closing as entered??? If you're using the first icon, the box with the tick through it, this should open the competition in a new window and log the competition. Are you using an ipad by any chance? I've noticed recently they do thisby ukinet - General Competition Chat

Some changes coming now/soon. - 6 years ago
Hello All, Just a quick message to let you know of some changes coming, or changes that have already happened depending on when you read this. Clearer fonts. Wider pages for desktops, along with making the page more accessible on tablets and mobile devices. Removed a couple of redundant links (Games and Treasure Hunts), the pages are still there just one click away rather than througby ukinet - General Competition Chat

I removed the link while I was moving this site to new servers, it will be back in a few days. Have you found the token? Send me a PM if so.by ukinet - Suggestions
Re: C C members competition results - 8 years ago
The Lego and Kindle is my fault. I added those comps and in my head the draw was the end of this month. I'll do the draw now and get the prizes sent as soon as the winners confirm their addresses. sorry.by ukinet - UK Forum
Re: 'Our Competitions' - 9 years ago
Our competitions can be added with a start date, so hundreds could be set up on one day, as I don't add them or make them I don't know what or why they might not be rolling out on a regular basis.by ukinet - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder points and coins - 9 years ago
Simple answer is use the second icon, and log with the 3rd and 4th. That is exactly the same as the old way, so no loss. The ladder is not going, just because a few don't like it, plenty do. BUT THE OLD WAY IS STILL POSSIBLE WITH THE SMALL ICONS, USE THAT AND FORGET THE LADDER, SIMPLE...by ukinet - General Competition Chat
Re: Ladder points and coins - 9 years ago
If you find the first of the quick link icons doesn't work for you it's probably because you have either Java script disabled or pop-ups for CC disabled. The first icon is the only way you'll earn points and coins, as they are worth very little I see no reason to remove them. The second quick link icon is the same as the 'Click here to enter' link, I'll leave botby ukinet - General Competition Chat

Re: Ladder points and coins - 9 years ago
OK. I have put the link icons into the comp details screen, using the quick entry link logs the comp, adds the coins and ladder points and takes you back to the section (not if entering from the latest comps page though, I'll work on that). I was hesitant to add this to the page as it adds bulk and makes the page longer, might not mean much to some people but it's extra stuff gettby ukinet - General Competition Chat
Re: Treasure Hunt #1 - 9 years ago
Yes the number are very important, so is the image. I'll do some sort of blatant clue regarding this, although you should be able to get it without that image, but then I know where it is so it's obvious to meby ukinet - General Competition Chat
Re: Phantasy Football - 9 years ago
There is talk about it, even for this season although I personally would have liked more time to get it ready in time. I'd also like to try and make it easier to enter and administer though so more can get involved. Lets see.by ukinet - General Competition Chat
Re: CC COINS - 9 years ago
Just the games at the moment. I'm thinking of getting some CC mugs printed and offering them for sale with a discount if you use coins. Other idea appreciated.by ukinet - UK Forum
