Re: DOES ANYBODY ACTUALLY WIN? - 9 years ago
Also "the early bird often catches the worm" so its best to enter as soon as possible before many others find out about the comp.by Cosmic - General Competition Chat

Worth noting that "the harder a comp is to enter, the easier it is to win".by Cosmic - General Competition Chat
Re: DOES ANYBODY ACTUALLY WIN? - 9 years ago
Comping in the "old days" (I'm told) was mainly slogans, tie-breakers and proof of purchase. The advent of the internet some say has meant comping has become less fun, the good news is that there are more comps (and more compers). Finding those comps that require a special skill takes time but can be more lucrative, those who are creative can win.by Cosmic - General Competition Chat
Re: Tv Comps - 9 years ago
I have never won one of these but there is no doubt that each one has a winner, also the chances of winning should be equal however entered (see the t&cs).by Cosmic - General Competition Chat

Re: Facebook Competitions - 9 years ago
I have given up comping on Twitter as there are so many it was taking me too much time, chances of winning are higher but prizes are often low value. There can be hundreds of new ones posted daily especially on Fridays, so I wonder if CC needs devote to time to keeping track of them. Also Twitter comps duration can be very short, some close with in 24 hours. I do the CC Facebook comps and someby Cosmic - Suggestions
Re: Dead link reports - 9 years ago
I suspected they were internal ID's the incidence of reporting dead links is low I hope as I don't find many. This reflects the excellent level of accuracy on CC thank you.by Cosmic - Suggestions
Re: winners page - 9 years ago
I have to admit to not completing this, its simply that I would rather use the time to entering more comps. Congratulations to all winners.by Cosmic - Suggestions
Re: Hotmail?? - 9 years ago
I doubt that using Hotmail should have any relevance to whether you win.by Cosmic - UK Forum
Re: PREMIUM RATE COMPETITION ENTRY OR FREE INTERNET ENTRY? - 9 years ago
I believe the t&cs should cover this so you can check if you wish to see on a particular comp, normally every entry has an equal chance regardless how entered.by Cosmic - UK Forum

Dead link reports - 9 years ago
Its great when I get these acknowledgments after I report a dead link (which actually is not often). I got this just now: > Deadlink reported > > id=91783 > > Reason: Cannot see the competition > > UID:15484 Can someone please explain id and UID. I would prefer a clickable link to the comp as its easy to forget which comp it was that I eported with the proby Cosmic - Suggestions
Re: Ladder - 9 years ago
I must admit I don't know anything about the ladder, my objective is to enter or ignore all the comps and try to keep up with this daily, there are a great number so its quite a challenge!by Cosmic - General Competition Chat
Latest competitions - 9 years ago
Great to see many being added this week, I guess its the post Bank Holiday activity from promoters. I try to post all the comps I want to enter (nearly all) then enter "Latest competitions" each day so I'm totally up to date, but I often have to catch up as its a challenge as there are so many. Thanks to Competitors Companion for your continuing brilliant service.by Cosmic - General Competition Chat
Re: Tv Comps - 9 years ago
It should be an equal chance of winning whichever method you use, I think most comps are.by Cosmic - General Competition Chat
Re: PREMIUM RATE COMPETITION ENTRY OR FREE INTERNET ENTRY? - 9 years ago
Normally if there is a postal entry option as well as online, text or phone each method is supposed to have an equal chance, so I always enter online where possible, why waste money! .by Cosmic - UK Forum
Re: Hotmail?? - 9 years ago
To win at online comps takes a lot of time, I always enter all the comps on Competitors Companion apart from a few I don't want to win. I do comps every day, and I do win sometimes.by Cosmic - UK Forum

Re: a bit quiet - 9 years ago
I have noticed there are fewer comps and less total value than I am used to seeing. Pleased to report though I rarely have problem with links.by Cosmic - General Competition Chat
Thank you! - 10 years ago
Thank for the hard work in keeping this amazing resource so comprehensively up to date, it has to be the best value in comping that I can think of. We are indeed spoilt. Also thank you for implementing some suggestions I have made. Good luck to all subscribers.by Cosmic - Suggestions
"Low Value" and "Other" - 10 years ago
I wonder how comps are categorised as there are some anomolies. Maybe a value limit should be used and headings "Below £500 value" and "Above £500 value".by Cosmic - Suggestions
