Competition Winners Hall Of Fame

As the winners list only seems to be updated spasmodically, please use this thread to let us know about your wins. I'm starting the ball rolling with my cluster of wins. Does anyone else have three wins close together, then nothing for months?

So far this year:

A Flexispot height adjustable desk with usb ports, from Kiddicharts. Value £299

£10 cash from the People's Postcode Lottery

A short break for 2 staying in a 5* castle on a private Scottish island, breakasts and dinners included, a massage and cash towards travel expenses. Value in the region of £1500

I've shown you mine, now you show me yours! :0)

You've had a good start to the year Deborah. Well done. I've had a couple of wins fairly close together in the past and then a bit of a dry patch.

In the December advent calendar competition for Spacenk, I won £50 to spend on body lotions/creams and candles. As there was a sale on, I got almost twice the value as some were half price!

Heard today I'd won tickets to the Brit Awards.

Can't go but it's nice to have won. Hope whoever is lucky in the redraw enjoys their evening.

I can't be the only one winning. Please share your wins.

I had a cluster of wins in December from Advent competitions:

- A Dorset Cereals Hamper
- A yummy Cheeseboard and Condiments
- An Advent Calendar of seeds in a cardboard greenhouse
- A Heck sausages hamper
- A crate of beers (great present for son-in-law)

In January I won an Epiphone Les Paul Guitar

February - absolutely nothing LOL

Here's hoping for a more successful March!

Good luck all

Congratulations Val!

I've just won a pushchair package and a £50 One4All voucher.

I've won more in the last 2 months than in the whole of the last 2 years.

I have won nothing on this site and I have been a member for years and enter comps every day. I must just be unlucky.

It's a long, long time since I had a win, aside from the CC inhouse competitions, but yesterday I received an email telling me I'd won a Ninja airfryer and a pack of Neutradol products.

This was a competition run by the publishers of Womans Weekly magazine.

This particular competition had over 193,000 entries.

So, if you're wondering why you 'never win anything' it's because there are 193,000 others hoping for a win too.

Hope this helps to put everything into perspective. If you only enter a few competitions, it's unlikely your name will be selected unless you're a very lucky person.

Well done, Deborah. It had been a long time since I'd won a prize either, apart from CC's own, like yourself. But I've just had the news that I've won a Rayo competition and the prize is 1.Return train travel from mainland UK to the winner's choice of UK town/city. 2.Afternoon tea at a local venue, typically including a set menu of scones, sandwiches, sweet treats and tea/coffee. 3. Pre-dinner cocktails at a local bar, up to the value of £45 per person. 4. Dinner and drinks at a local restaurant, up to the value of £60 per person including service charge.
Unfortunately there's no accommodation included but we're getting travel and food so I'm sure we'll fit that into a short break somewhere.

I've recently won a £250 spa voucher to use at spabreaks.com The competition was run by Pantene (Proctor & Gamble) and it took me a lot of effort to receive the prize after I had the email notifying me I was a winner.
I spent a lot of time calling P&G, sending emails, etc to eventually be awarded the spa vouchers. After a number of weeks I had almost given up but was pleased I kept going with my enquiries.
Now looking forward to a weekend spa break at Penyyhill spa next month, will certainly deserve the relaxation weekend after jumping through many hoops!

I know it's not a competition but I was over the moon to hear I won £5,050 in this month's NS&I Premium bonds draw. Looking forward to booking a holiday now.

My only significant win in recent months was a Bauer Radio competition. The prize was train travel to anywhere in the UK (for 2) and then cocktails followed by a three-course meal on the first day and Champagne afternoon tea on the second day. (No accommodation included unfortunately). Me and my husband had a lovely 3 days in Cardiff. The prize co-ordinator ended up just putting £330 in our bank account to cover the food and drink instead of paying the restaurants direct which suited everyone just fine. We had a lovely time.

Saw the photos from Cardiff. Hadn't realised it was a win. Congratulations.
Is it Bauer that don't let you win more than one significant prize within a certain period? Did this fall into that category? Hope not!

Not 100% certain on which company this is with Pippin and it may have changed. But ages ago I had a big win with one of the media stations and was told I wouldn't be eligible for another large win within a certain timescale.

Last month I won 12 bottles of cider in the Sandford Orchards competition on CC. In February I won a pair of ‘Keen’ hiking boots worth £150 in a prize draw at a Banff Film Festival screening. Not long after joining CC I won a NikWax prize bundle worth around £450 - hiking boots, trekking poles, book, bottle and NikWax products. I used to do comps years ago, feels good to be doing them again. Question for those of you who have been doing them for some time - all the ones which say they are for two people (short breaks and holidays seem to be the most guilty of this) - any solos ever get told they can’t go alone?

Just received an email from Hunts Premium Beef to let me know I've won a £50 British Beef Giftcard to use on their web site. This was a free online draw. Going to get the BBQ out to cook a few rump steaks!
