Roade - Where In The World - Friday

Just as a matter of interest, what was the name of the pub in Roade in Friday's Where In The World, please.
This village, which has a connection with the picture, lies around 15 miles from a place associated with Alan Turing and other clever people. A cricketer who played for his county and country and who died aged 57 was raised in the village. A pub in the village has an animal name which suggests that French people would feel at home here. What is the name of the village?

Hi, Pippin, that had me foxed, all I could find was the Cock inn so I assumed it sounded like Coc au vin.

The rooster is the symbol of France.
Don't thank me, it was my husband who pointed out it's on their national football strip!

You can prove anything with facts, personally I think the coq au vin story has more legs.
