So, how many of you dismissed Kevin Whately because Wikipedia states he was born in Hexham?
If you ask for a list of famous people born in Cumberland, Wiki lists him as being born in Brampton but search for Kevin Whately, Wiki tells you he was born in Hexham, as do a few other sites. And then there are more that say he was born in Newcastle.
Trust nobody! lol

I saw somewhere that he was born in Hexham and went as far as checking if Hexham was in what used to be known as Cumberland, even though I know damn well that it isn't. And of course other sites clarify that he was born in Cumberland. You'll remember the other day I questioned whether the Ryder Cup captains were actually founding members of the restaurant in question. There are websites that say they were, there are websites that say they joined later. Difficult job for the question setters.
