The town is Tonbridge in Kent.

It has a 13th Century Castle: Tonbridge Castle features a gatehouse built in the late 13th century. It is currently open daily from 10am to 6pm during its summer hours.

Birthplace of a Famous Actor: The distinguished English actor Harry Andrews was born in Tonbridge in 1911. He appeared in numerous films, including the 1951 film "Captain Horatio Hornblower" starring Gregory Peck. Andrews also appeared with Peck in the later classic "The Guns of Navarone" (1961).

The Cricketer: The legendary English cricketer Frank Woolley was also born in Tonbridge in 1887. He played 64 Test matches for England and moved to Canada in his later years, where he died in 1978 in Chester, Nova Scotia.

Hi Foxylady. Yes, today's was relatively easy. It was Wednesday's that I found tricky but I got there in the end. The answer has now been released so it's safe to now say it was the Crocodile Dundee one, and the answer was Parramatta.
