I've got the town but I just can't get the newspaper that the journalist (I know who that is) and the creator of King Kong (I know who that is too) both worked for. If you know, please let me know tomorrow, when this question is over. Ta. Pippin

That part stumped me too. Can't see that the KK chap ever worked as an editor.

Yes - Merian C. Cooper seems to have worked on several newspapers in between his military service but not as editor and none that Allister Haddon Sparks was editor for. Still - I now know who created King Kong, if that should ever come up in another quiz
