beware of a fake facebook profile where the logo is as hughes but with an extra g HUGGHES. They tell you you have won the competition, then ask you for your credit card details with the next hour. Its a scam and nothing to do with the actual competition retailer. HUGHES. watch out for the dodgy logo HUGGHES. Also you cant win a competition that hasnt ended yet. It closes on 9th August. Beware folks

Sadly it's happening a lot. I'm receiving at least one phishing post for every competition I enter on FB.
The other things to look at, if you're unsure, is how many followers the suspect post has, and how many posts are on their feed. Also, check if you 'like' the post. Chances are you'll have liked the'real' page but not the scam page.
Please report any scam when you see it. Unless FB admin are made aware of the extent of the problem they're unlikely to take action.
