Differing closing dates

Has anyone noticed that the closing dates given in CC is often earlier than that given when you follow the link to the actual competition website? This is particulary so with the ITV comps but I've noticed it with others. Odd.....

maybe its a case of the early bird catching the worm ,so to speak. at least the closing dates are not later than the comps website, happy comping
